What does Auto-Approval mean for CE requirements by state?

The auto-approval means that that particular state CE is a state where you do not have to apply when putting on a program state by state. Colorado is an auto-approval state, which means that when someone puts on a program, they do not have to apply with a state ahead of time to get approved. We have to get approved directly through Sherman College in the State of Colorado, that is the same for many states, but some states do have review processes where you have to send something to the state board for them to approve the program being taught for Continuing Education.

There are up to 18 hours of continuing education throughout the weekend included in your registration. The Main program includes 8 hours. However if you need CE you must pay the $55 CE processing fee for Sherman College. This fee is paid 1x and covers ALL the CE programs. If you wish to add more than those 8 hours there are additional options you may choose to add to bring the total up to 18 hours. There are 4 hours on record keeping, Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM for an additional $75 for those attending the program ($100 if you are not attending.) There are also 3 hours of CPR on Sunday from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm for an additional $75 for those attending the program ($100 if you are not attending.) You must check with your state if CPR counts towards continuing education hours. Whichever CE you register for (1 session or all 3) you must add the $55 CE FEE one time.
